Aaron Meyer

Today the kids had the privilege of having Aaron Meyer perform for them at their school assembly. He is a concert rock violinist and lives here locally. He is world renown and I don't think the kids understood what an incredible opportunity this was for them to be up close and personal with this guy. I can't believe I forgot my camera, but it was so cute to see him have a little conversation with Hailey afterwards about playing her violin and sticking to it. She really didn't need more motivation to play away on that thing, but now she is really bursting with enthusiasm to play her violin. She was so excited to get a CD with his signature and to have it written specifically to "Shaylin, Zachary, and Hailey." She's going to wrap it up and give it as a gift to Shaylin and Zachary for Christmas, so shhh, mums the word. When we got home she asked for a picture of herself with her violin and the signed CD. Thanks Aaron!

In this concert he will be combining with The Gothard Sisters (who do Irish Dancing and play the violin), The Brown Sisters, and Aaron's father, Violinist Julian Meyer, who began teaching Aaron when he was 5 years old.
