First time with the "white stuff"

We had a nice dusting of snow overnight, and just enough moisture and cold enough temperatures to make the roads slippery and school was canceled. Ethan enjoyed venturing out to discover the snow. He did not want to touch it at all, and made that very clear. He stepped into some huge boots from the boot box and followed Zach outside in just his PJ's to see what all the excitement was about. It was so cold! I whisked him inside and stuffed him in this snowsuit and then let him go back outside. Yes, his face looks pained that I actually put him in something girly with pink on it, sorry buddy. Actually, his face is pained because moments before he took one step off the cement into the grass, and promptly tipped forward straight in half and face planted into the snow with his feet still flat on the ground (because the boots are more like skiis and kept him in place). It was hilarious, but he was stuck in this position and couldn't move and I took pity on him and got him out rather than take a picture of it. Hopefully, we'll get to enjoy a little bigger snowstorm in the future so Ethan can experience some real snow.

Seeing Ethan in that suit is giving me reminders of "The Christmas Story."
