Bobcat Award & Update

Zachary received his Bobcat at Scouts this week. He is very self-motivated to work on his goals for scouts. Makes it easy on Mom & Dad right now. =-)
They also had a rain gutter regatta at scouts. For those unfamiliar with this, the boys build boats and then race them in rain gutters. There is supposed to be wind to push the sail, but that didn't happen. So, the boys had to blow their boat down the raingutter. Poor Zach couldn't put his lips close enough together with his teeth situation to make a good wind. After getting pretty light-headed the first time around, he had a friend help him out and do the blowing after that.

*Zach's Update*
Zachary has been doing good at laying low and being cautious with his mouth. The teeth are doing well so far and starting to firm up in their sockets a little bit. The dentist is hopeful that they'll be firm enough in 2 weeks to put braces on. Thankfully, he's not in too much pain. He says the roof of his mouth hurts a little and the gum line is sore, but I'm guessing that's from the initial impact of the teeth getting jammed up in his mouth before falling out. We appreciate the emails, phone calls, thoughts & prayers in his behalf. Thank you!!!
