Today is Shaylin's 10th Birthday.
She wrote up the "blue prints" for her birthday cake about a month ago while playing dominoes. See the resemblance?

She designed everything from the layers of brownie surrounding the mint chocolate chip ice cream, to the cool whip on top with mint oreos and a piece of black licorice to turn this cake into one giant domino. So creative and so delicious!
Happy birthday wishes Shaylin!
She enjoyed having some friends over for a PJ party.
They played the chocolate bar game.
The tootsie-roll game.
They watched "Enchanted" and stuffed themselves with goodies.
Then they enjoyed playing outside in the dark.
. . .and I'm sure we still have so many more to come.Shaylin is a wonderful daughter! She is a very good big sister too. She is a great student and is especially good at reading, math, writing stories, and geography. She said when she grows up she wants to be an actress, an author, or an illustrator. She is making great progress with her piano playing skills and she is a great little soccer player. She is wonderful at writing in her journal every week and reads her scriptures daily. She sets really good goals for herself and is very self-motivated. We are so proud of her and all the good things she is doing in her life. We couldn't ask for a sweeter daughter. We love you Shaylinny-lou with eyes of blue!
