Coast Trip

Ethan was prepared for the sun today with his shades and hat.

While Jon has been gone this week my brother's family came for a visit. Between our two families there is a total of 10 kids under the age of 12. It is a crazy household, but the kids are having so much fun with their cousins.

Today we went to the coast. There's a reason we call it the coast and not the beach here in Oregon. It's usually windy and cold, not balmy and warm. Sometimes during the summer it can be windy and sunny, but still cool. Today it was rainy, windy, and cold, so no need for Ethan's shades and hat. The kids still had fun exploring sea life and caves, even with the weather.

Here's a picture of the kids table. We do have an extra family joining us in this picture, and some of the kids were gone to the restroom, but you get the idea. Denny's even gave us our own private room. They probably didn't want us to scare their other customers away with our gaggle of children.
