Baseball Season

It's still raining most days, the fields are muddy, and the benches have puddles of water all around them. . .it must be baseball season. Actually, today went against the usual baseball playing weather and the sun was shining and it was wonderful to watch the kids game in short sleeves and sunglasses, rather than hunkered under big coats, gloves, and umbrellas. I took advantage of the sun today and took some pictures. Shaylin and Zachary are playing on the same baseball team for one more year. Jon is head coach and now that tax season is behind him, he's looking forward to being at all of the games. He's had some great assistant coaches that have helped him the last few weeks to get the baseball season started while tax season was winding down.
Thanks Coach Scott and Coach Eric!Shaylin definitely is able to hold her own as the only girl on this baseball team. She gives plenty of these boys a run for their money.

Zachary has really blossomed this year and is doing well. Don't let his size fool ya, it doesn't interfere with his coordination one bit, which is really what matters in baseball.
