All in a days work

We decided to give something a little different to friends and neighbors this year. . . a loaf of homemade whole wheat bread. The kids helped with the whole process starting with grinding the wheat into flour. My amazing Bosch machine did the real work in the house. It was fun imagining with the kids how jealous our ancestors would be seeing our great appliances that help make this process so much easier.
The kids helped me deliver the bread just as fast as they were coming out of the oven. I did them in batches of 4 and made a total of 24 loaves today.
It was fun to have the kids help with something literally from start to finish.
