Zach's 9th Birthday

Happy 9th Birthday Zachary!
Zach requested a brownie ice cream cake for his birthday. So easy and so yummy. It made us all laugh when daddy had to put the cake pieces back in the pan so we could have you blow out the candles first. Silly guy just started cutting and dishing and forgot the most important part--making a wish and blowing out the candles. Zach sure does take this part seriously. In the picture below you can see him meditating over his cake as he makes the perfect wish. Meanwhile, Ethan is intrigued with the candles. Um, any day Zach. Your ice cream cake is going to melt. =)

The girls set up a "lounge" area for Zachary, complete with blankets and pillows for him to lay on while he waited to open his presents. They fanned him with a broom and duster, fed him strawberries and water, and even gave him certain claps to use to order them around. Wow, pretty special birthday boy.

Finally it's present time. Zach was excited about his new jacket, snow boots, and snowboard.
Happy Birthday Zachary!
